The West Coast Swing Dance Exchange began with a dream...to raise West Coast Swing dance awareness in Florida and provide places for community dancers to dance this dance...and in October 2007, Bruce DeLille and Donna Purcell created the plan that would make the dream happen.
MISSION:
- To raise awareness of West Coast Swing dance in the community
- To spend individual time with beginners to help them learn the basic skills of the dance and build their confidence to get out on the floor
- To work with intermediate dancers to stretch their abilities and knowledge with current techniques and new patterns
- To provide floorspace where West Coast Swing dancers can regularly go to learn/dance the West Coast Swing.
